Charles County Public Schools in Maryland has added new active shooter detection technology. The Omnilert solution is a visual gun detection platform that notifies law enforcement if weapons are detected.
CCPS will use the system in addition to existing security measures to improve school safety. K-12 schools across the country have implemented similar systems to protect their campuses from active shooters.
