The TSA confiscated nearly 70 firearms in passengers' carry-on luggage last week -- breaking a record set two years ago.

Of the 67 firearms found, officials said, 56 were loaded -- and 26 of those had a bullet in the chamber ready to fire.

Additionally, several knives and 19 stun guns were caught by security agents. No firearms, ammunition, stun guns or knives are allowed on commercial flights except in declared, checked luggage.

The number of firearms caught last week set a new record, the TSA said, over 65 that were confiscated in 2013.
