Home » Extends Coax Distances to Save Re-Cabling Costs
Ethernet transmissions have a 100-meter limitation by using copper cable, and Power over Ethernet (PoE) repeaters have to be used to reach greater distances. But this “extender over coax” system extends the transmission distance of power and 100Mbps Ethernet data over legacy coaxial cable to reduce re-cabling costs. This extender is not a repeater, and it uses existing cable to achieve greater distances to run PoE applications.
