Home » New Security Screening for Statue of Liberty Visits
Security screening for visitors to the Statue of Liberty will be held on Ellis Island when the site reopens this summer, the National Park Service said.
Beginning July 4, visitors will not be screened before boarding ferries from either Battery Park in Lower Manhattan or Liberty State Park, N.J. Both ferries stop at Ellis Island.
