Home » Provides Clarity in Extreme Light and Dark Conditions
When recording surveillance footage within a facility with, say, frequently opened exterior doors, many cameras will be blinded by the light of an opening garage, affecting the quality of video of the indoor setting as well. These Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) cameras can provide clear images for areas containing both very bright and very dark spaces within the field of view, with a dynamic range of up to 100dB – a 50dB improvement compared to traditional non-WDR cameras. By mixing long and short exposures in the same video frame, the WDR line provides the most detail in both light conditions at the same time.
