Charlotte May Change City Ordinances For DNC Security
The City of Charlotte is amending city ordinances to increase security for the Democratic National Convention.
One change to the city ordinances would prohibit camping on city property. There is also language in the proposed changes that prohibits carrying a backpack, duffle bag, satchel or other item carried with the “intent to conceal weapons.”
Charlotte's city council will vote on the proposed ordinance changes in two weeks.
