Report Says Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Needs More Cyber Security
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory failed to set up adequate cyber security controls for classified information about the nation's nuclear stockpile, according to a federal report released Tuesday.
Livermore is one of the federal government's top science labs and maintains several national security systems, including some supercomputers that process sensitive and classified information about the safety and reliability of nuclear weapons and other homeland security matters.
