ASIS International  resented the Award for Senior Regional Vice President (SRVP) of the Year to security consultant William G. Bradshaw, CPP, and the Award for Regional Vice President (RVP) of the Year to Robert E. Johnson, Executive Director of Operations, RIBI Security. The awards were presented by 2010 ASIS President Joseph R. “Bob” Granger, CPP, on Thursday, Jan. 20 at the Ritz Carlton in Pentagon City, Va. during the ASIS Annual Volunteer Leadership meeting.

 
An ASIS member since 1990 and a volunteer leader since 1995, Bradshaw received acclamation for his significant contribution to ASIS Group 50 in Canada. He resides in Oakville, Ontario, Canada and is an active member of local ASIS Chapter 198 – Canadian Prairie, where he continues his dedicated service as SVRP.
 
Providence, R.I.-based Johnson, an ASIS member since 1999 and a volunteer leader since 2000, was recognized for his outstanding service as RVP for Region 18, which includes seven ASIS chapters in the northeastern United States. He is currently an exam candidate for the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation and continues in his position as RVP.
 
The annual awards recognize ASIS regional volunteer leaders for their significant contributions and outstanding performance. Recipient recommendations are submitted by the ASIS Treasurer to the ASIS Vice President and Chief Executive Officer. A final selection is made by the ASIS President and the Board of Directors following a review of the candidates. Awards are presented at the Annual Volunteer Leadership meeting each January.
