Rudy Giuliani has been hired as the security advisor for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. Brazilian officials said that "He's going to help us in day-to-day security and, especially, with an eye toward ... the Olympic Games."
 
According to an AP report. Rio has long been torn by violence. In October alone, drug wars were blamed for some 40 murders in the city, including three policemen who were flying in a helicopter that was shot down by the criminals.
