Key findings include:

1) DHS received $2.75 billion in appropriations

        – $610 million is for 3 grant programs for state & local governments

        – Over $1.3 billion will be for technology

        – $860 billion will be for construction and improvements on various projects

2) Proposed DHS 2010 budget totals to $42.7 billion

        – ARRA impact on the department’s overall budget is small at just 6%

3) Stimulus funding will impact 47,700 jobs
