From Siemens Building Technologies, Inc., Siemens SAPPHIRE is integrated access control software that is simple to use yet provides the end user with sophisticated building access control. The software supports up to 128 card readers, 4,000 cardholders and four fully functional workstations. It runs under Windows 98, Windows NT and Windows 2000 operating systems and uses an Internet browser that empowers the end user with a familiar operating environment and command structure. For badging, there's a photo capture tool that provides vertical and horizontal photo centering controls, brightness, contrast, color, intensity and hue control for the photo image and a multi-frame capture which allows the subject to choose the best likeness.
