The Stanley Works has acquired ADT France SA from Tyco Electronics, Ltd., a Bermuda-based provider of engineered electronic components, network solutions, undersea telecommunication systems and wireless systems.

ADT is a designer, installer and supporter of electronic security systems to protect shops, businesses, public sector offices and private homes.
