From Secura Key, the RK-XRM is an open-architecture RS-485 proximity reader for custom applications. Each reader is individually addressable. Up to 100 units can be connected to a 4000-foot twisted-pair bus. There are no control panels or one-size-fits-none software packages. Secura Key provides a software API so the systems integrator can create, or adapt a program that fits his exact needs. Access control, fuel dispensing, time-and-attendance and other automatic identification and data collection applications are implemented quickly and easily.
