The International Foundation for Protection Officers (IFPO) has developed a distance education certificate program in Crime and Loss Investigation. The foundation developed this program due to the need for entry-level security personnel to be better trained in investigation. Although not a certification program, there is a certificate of completion that will be presented after passing the exam. Additionally, it is anticipated that the program will help to prepare people for the ASIS Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners’ Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designations.
