Delta Scientific's HTTC 45 high threat traffic controller is a hybrid between the firm's traffic control product line and vehicle barricade systems. When installed, the top plate lies flush with the road surface to allow authorized vehicles to pass. When raised, the barricade presents an aggressive, formidable barrier to halt vehicle access. To use, the wedge tooth assembly of the HTTC 45 barrier raises above the grade by 450mm or 18 inches. The barriers open in approximately one second when in the "emergency fast" mode. Units come in three and six meter lengths.
