Announcing: Security Week!

As announced at ISC Solutions last week, Nov. 1-4, 2011, will be Security Week in New York City. Securing New Ground, the Security 500, ISC Solutions and the Tri-Association Awards Dinner will, for the first time, be planned in concert with one another, creating unprecedented opportunities for learning, networking and deal-making for everyone from end-users to corporate executives.

Security Week will begin on Tuesday, Nov. 1, and Wednesday, Nov. 2, at the Roosevelt Hotel with Securing New Ground, a conference that brings together investors, security company executives and security end-users for unique financial information sessions and what conference founder Sandra Jones describes as “the best networking in the industry.”

The Security 500, the leading executive conference on managing and measuring the value of the security function within organizations, and the Security 500 Recognition Dinner have traditionally been held in conjunction with Securing New Ground, and that will not change next year. Both the conference and the dinner are scheduled for Wednesday at the Roosevelt.

On Thursday, Nov. 3, and Friday, Nov. 4, ISC Solutions, one of the top trade shows in the security industry, will take place at the Jacob Javits Convention Center. In 2011, ISC Solutions will continue its commitment to working with vertical markets associations and helping end-users identify the security applications that are right for them.

Finally, on Thursday night, the Tri-Association Awards Dinner, an elegant event held to honor those who have made outstanding contributions to the security industry, will be held at The Lighthouse on Chelsea Pier 61.

Two conferences, two social events and a trade show, all about electronic physical security, all in New York City, all in just four days.

Security Week is a joint project of SIA; Reed Exhibitions, the producer of ISC Solutions; and Security and SDM magazines, both of which help to produce the Security 500.

A website will be created at www.securityweekonline.com by early 2011. Until then, more information is available at www.siaonline.org/securityweek.
