The U.S. Department of Education announced it will fine Michigan State University (MSU) a record $4.5 million and require the University to make major changes to its Title IX procedures following its systemic failure to protect students from sexual abuse.
Purdue will soon roll out new identification cards for faculty, staff and students, featuring added technology and a new design. The student version of the IDs also will include an expiration date for the first time in Purdue history.
The University of Michigan will begin offering optional active attacker training to students, faculty, staff and community members through a program called “Capable Guardian: Instruct, Evacuate, Shelter, Defend.”
