NoblePeak Vision (www.noblepeak.com) announced today that it has won the grand final of the Global Security Challenge 2007 (www.globalsecuritychallenge.com) for the accolade of the world’s most promising security technology start up company based upon their revolutionary camera and image sensor technology TriWave®. NoblePeak’s technology allows for 24/7 coverage and requires no active illumination.

The 2007 international competition, which had regional finals in Washington DC, Singapore and Munich, culminated in the selection of the five best global security start-ups for the grand final in London England on November 8th. For winning the grand final NoblePeak Vision was awarded a $500,000 grant sponsored by the U.S. Government and mentorship with Paladin Capital Group.

Speaking at the awarding ceremony was Sir Richard Dearlove, the former chief of the British Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) who said “The entrants in this year’s Global Security Challenge illustrate how technology should rather be used to enhance our collective security, and how the security interests of government and business more generally can benefit from this type of work at the cutting edge of scientific advancement.”

“We are very honored to receive this accolade that adds further validation of our product, business model, and management team,” said Cliff King, NoblePeak’s CEO and Co-Founder. “The need for high performance night vision at a commercially viable price has never been greater, and we are on track to introduce our revolutionary night vision camera cores featuring our TriWave® technology to camera OEM’s that service the commercial and homeland security markets in 2008.”
