New York City Council Passes Municipal ID Legislation
New York lawmakers have agreed to create New York City municipal identification cards that residents can get regardless of their immigration status, according to The Associated Press.
The City Council voted Thursday to create the municipal ID card program, and NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio supported the idea.
