Indianapolis city officials announced massive security measures for Indianapolis ahead of Super Bowl 2012.
Indianapolis Public Safety Director Frank Straub says that more than 3,000 police, fire and EMS personnel will be on duty during the four days leading up to the event. He adds that overtime and equipment costs will likely reach $7 million and that federal grant dollars will pay for the bulk.
