Larry Wansley is a globally respected leader in corporate, sports, and aviation security. A former U.S. Marine and FBI undercover agent, Larry pioneered the Player Counseling and Security Program for the Dallas Cowboys—now the operational model for all NFL teams. During his career, he has held senior security roles across multiple industries, including serving as the founding Security Director for the NFL’s international league and as Head of Global Security for American Airlines. His leadership team was honored with the FBI Director’s Award for identifying all 9/11 terrorists, and his passenger screening framework helped shape the foundation for the TSA. The author of FBI Undercover and Tough Streets, Rough Skies and Sunday Sidelines, Larry continues to advise organizations globally on crisis response, risk mitigation, and leadership in security. He retired from the Cowboys in 2025 to focus on consulting and speaking engagements.
