James Weston became Director, Global Security at the McDonald's Corporation in May of 2024. He leads strategy and alignment for Global Security, works closely with McDonald’s Segment Business Unit leads in providing security advise and crisis response, provides Executive Protection for McDonald’s Global Leadership, as well as developing and enriching relationships with Government partners and private sector counterparts to enable fast detection and response to emerging risks. Prior to McDonald's James served as Deputy Executive Director for the Secretary of State’s Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) in the Diplomatic Security Service. He was named one of the Most Influential People in Security by Security Magazine in 2016.
