Cheryl Steele is the Vice President of Global Security & Resilience (Chief Security Officer) at Starbucks Coffee Company, a global Fortune 150 company operating more than 35,000 retail locations in over 82 markets around the world. In this capacity, Steele oversees safety and security operations for all partners and facilities (retail, non-retail and manufacturing), including executive protection, physical security infrastructure, occupational health and safety, supply chain security, crisis management and business continuity. Her background includes leadership of business development for Fleishman Hillard and directing Booz Allen Hamilton’s work at the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Agency for International Development, and special projects for the U.S. Special Operations community. Steele serves on the Extended Executive Board of the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) and is a member of the International Security Management Association (ISMA).
