Ensuring the safety and security of all stakeholders in a school district can be a daunting task. Where should one begin? Who should be involved? How do you find funding for what is needed? This webinar will assist those responsible for developing a comprehensive K-12 safety and security program by helping security professionals and administrators understand the goals and objectives of a district-wide safety and security program. In addition, it’s also critical for school districts to review the legal safety requirements that must be complied with; understand how to develop best practices for district sites; and gain knowledge of the resources that are available to school safety and security personnel to help them achieve these goals.
Learning Objectives:
- Examine the development and growth of a comprehensive K-12 safety and security program.
- Discuss safety and security compliance requirements.
- Explore best practices for managing a K-12 safety and security program.
- Identify critical resources available to school districts to support these efforts.
