Zalud’s Blog reports that Northrop Grumman Corporation will present its public-safety solutions for first responders this week at the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials 75th Annual Conference and Exposition.

The conference and exposition will be held August 16-19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

"Our experience as a public safety systems integrator, providing CAD systems, designing and deploying a broad range of wireless networks, implementing video surveillance systems and integrating other emerging technologies puts Northrop Grumman at the forefront of public safety transformations," said Gino Menchini, director of state and local accounts for Northrop Grumman's Information Systems sector.

The company will also demonstrate capabilities of implementing wireless networks; similar to what it is has deployed in New York City. The display will feature command-and-control software using video for integrated situation awareness and situation management, as well as a broadband wireless network that provides high speed data, video and voice communications for public safety and government agencies.
