Requiring no ambient light and providing image quality in darkness, smoke or fog, Hanwha Techwin’s IP-based Wisenet thermal cameras are capable of long-range detection. The high-contrast thermal images make motion detection and other analytics highly accurate; motion detection with handover enables thermal cameras to inform PTZ cameras where to target their lenses to gather additional information on an event. The thermal cameras can also detect temperature changes in the frame, potentially detecting a piece of overheating equipment early.
