Converter for Wireless Applications

For applications that cannot be wired, a wireless converter is available. Keyscan Inc. has introduced the NETCOM2WH converter, designed for wireless LAN applications. This converter incorporates wireless technology and translates serial to Ethernet to establish PC/server communication with the access control units. Because it offers wireless point-to-point connectivity, the converter is an ideal solution where running cable is not feasible or prohibitively expensive.
