Remote Scanning

Keeping security professionals safe while screening for weapons and contraband is a serious concern. Santa Clara, Calif.-based SafeView’s scanning technology allows remote screening – up to 100 feet away – while staff remain safe in a secure location. The system uses active millimeter waves – common radio-frequency signals – to create a 3-D image in about four seconds, efficiently scanning hundreds of people an hour.
