Single-channel Digital Video Recorder

From Tyco Fire & Security Video Systems, two new single-channel digital video recorders replace VCRs in smaller security systems. he Robot units: DVR1040 DVR with a 40GB hard drive; DVR1080 with 80GB hard drive. Both have multiple recording speeds - 60, 30, 20, 15, 10, 5, 2 or 1 fps (frames per second). Based on a recording speed of 15 fps, the DVR1040 can record over one week’s worth of video at standard resolution without the need for archiving.
