From Indala, these applications add security through use of ProxSmith programmer and FlexPass readers. Card programming data is in 26-bit format. The ProxSmith programmer scrambles the 26-bit format an adds a password onto the cards. FlexPass readers have key programmed. If key matches, data is unscrambled. The unique key is then discarded and the original data in 26-bit format is sent to the host access control panel.
