SecuritySpecifiers announces applications are now open for the 2023 Elliot A. Boxerbaum Award for the Security Design Project of the Year, given annually for excellence in security design.

Since its inception in 2017, this award has helped to highlight the importance and scope of the critical work performed by the security design community. This is amplified by the partnership between SecuritySpecifiers and Security magazine.

The award is named for the late Elliot A. Boxerbaum, MA, CPP, CSC, founder and president of Security Risk Management Consultants, Inc. Boxerbaum passed away in June 2014, from ALS, and, on behalf of the award-winning firm, a donation will be made to the ALS Association — Central & Southern Ohio Chapter by SecuritySpecifiers and CONSULT.

Advanced Data Risk Management (ADRM) received the 2022 award for One Post Office Square in downtown Boston.

“It was truly an honor to receive this award named after Elliot Boxerbaum, a good friend, and a tough competitor,” said Dan O’Neill, ADRM’s President & CEO. “Our client was quite pleased with the award and received accolades from very senior executives at their firm. Further, the response we received through the coverage in Security Magazine was amazing, as evidenced by the number of people who stopped to congratulate us at ISC West in March.”

The application window for the 2023 Elliot A. Boxerbaum Award for the Security Design Project of the Year, co-sponsored by Security Magazine, is now open. Applications will be accepted through July 31.
