Philadelphia is adding gun detection to its public transportation security measures. The city will be implementing the ZeroEyes artificial intelligence (AI) gun detection platform for buses, subways and other forms of mass transit.
The technology will be rolled out across the city in an effort to prevent gun-related violence on mass transit. The system will work with existing surveillance camera systems to identify guns and alert onsite security officers and local law enforcement.
