Edward Hudson has been named the new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at the University of Kansas (KU). Hudson will lead the information security strategy and operations for the university's educational campuses and working to ensure KU is using best practices to protect student, personnel and intellectual property information.
Hudson brings 20 years of IT security and IT governance experience to the role. He previously worked as the CISO for the California State University system, overseeing strategic information security and privacy efforts for the 23 campuses of the CSU system.
