Douglas S. Beidler has been named the Assistant Director of the Security Division at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Headquarters in Washington, D.C. The Security Division is charged with protecting the FBI’s people, information and facilities.
Beidler joined the FBI as a Special Agent in 2002. He was assigned to the Las Vegas Field Office, where he investigated national security matters, served on the Joint Terrorism Task Force, and worked human intelligence issues. He was promoted in 2010 to a Supervisor in the Inspection Division at FBI Headquarters, working in the Internal Investigations Section.
