A data breach of the food delivery app Yandex Food has revealed email addresses, phone numbers and delivery addresses of multiple Russian security and military agents.

Data involved in the leak included delivery addresses for specific military units, according to Bellingcat research. The leak, which Yandex announced on March 1, 2022, was caused by an inside employee.

Data from the following individuals and agencies appears to be included in the leak:

  • Russian National Guard
  • Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (GRU)
  • Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Consular Service
  • Federal Security Service (FSB)

The leak included delivery instructions describing how to navigate military locations. According to Bellingcat, the leak also exposed the data of an individual linked to the poisoning of activist Alexey Navalny.
