ALPHARETTA, GA, May 12, 2021 – OnSolve, a leading critical event management provider for enterprises, small-to-medium sized organizations, and government entities, announced today the recent expansion of their partnership with the Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency (RIEMA) to power the distribution of COVID-19 vaccines to newly eligible Rhode Island residents. This expanded partnership supported vaccine distribution efforts when Rhode Island residents 16 years of age or older became eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and will now support the expanded eligibility to residents 12 to 15 years of age.

“As we prepare for this key step in Rhode Island’s efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, it’s important that we have advanced technology in place that will help power the efficient distribution of vaccines,” said Director of RIEMA Marc Pappas. “OnSolve has been an incredible partner to RIEMA throughout the pandemic, helping to keep our residents informed and safe through rapid, targeted and easy to understand critical communications. We are thrilled to expand our use of OnSolve as we drive vaccination efforts to all eligible Rhode Islanders.”

Building upon lessons learned and successes over the past year, OnSolve will support RIEMA in communicating essential information to Rhode Island residents around the scheduling and distribution of COVID-19 vaccines.

“We are honored to partner with RIEMA to help protect the health and safety of the surrounding community and residents,” said OnSolve CEO Mark Herrington. “We know customers and communities need us now more than ever to better manage uncertainty. Supporting RIEMA throughout the pandemic underscores the pivotal role critical event management technology plays in keeping people safe, informed, assured and productive when it matters most.”

OnSolve has also played a vital role in communicating with Rhode Island residents in near or real time when critical events such as extreme weather have impacted vaccine appointments. Through targeted communications, OnSolve helped to quickly inform residents of appointment changes and reschedule vaccinations during times of severe winter weather across the state, ensuring residents’ safety.
