Wadena-Deer Creek will upgrade video surveillance system
The Wadena-Deer Creek School District located in Minnesota, will replace its video surveillance system at the district’s high school with the goal of allowing administration and security staff easier access and review of footage.
In a school board meeting earlier this year, technology director Vince Hinojos and middle/high school principal Tyler Church said that the district’s current cameras lacked functionality and many didn’t work. In addition, surveillance could only be accessed through a specific computer at the high school, making investigations and reviews cumbersome.
