Seattle-Tacoma International Airport tests reservation tech for TSA
In a move to both improve travel experiences and reduce crowding in security checkpoint lines, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is trailing a virtual queuing system for TSA screening checkpoints.
The free program called SEA Spot Saver is designed as a virtual app to help people avoid standing in crowded security lines where social distancing is difficult. Travelers can reserve a spot in advance and will be notified when to proceed to a TSA checkpoint.
