Salesforce becomes latest tech giant to embrace permanent work from home
Salesforce, cloud computing provider, is the latest Silicon Valley business to announce a shift in how employees will work post-pandemic Facebook announced in the summer of 2020 it would let employees request to work from home permanently, for example. Other tech giants including Twitter and Microsoft has also announced changes to their long-term remote work polices.
This week, in a blog post, Salesforce said the “9-to-5 workday is dead” and that it will allow employees to choose one of three categories that dictate how often, if ever, they return to the office once it’s safe to do so. Salesforce said it would be giving employees more freedom to choose what their daily schedules look like.
