Huntsville schools close for the week amid cyberattack
Huntsville City Schools in Alabama will remain closed for the week amid a ransomware cyberattack. According to a statement from the school district, the investigation is ongoing and the district is working with authorities. This comes after a massive cyber attack shut down all learning today, both in-person and virtual.
According to a school spokesperson the district immediately responded after finding out about the breach. They partnered with Huntsville Police and the FBI to investigate, while students were sent home on Monday.
