CISA Launches SAFECOM, New Public Safety Emergency Communications Website
The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has launched a new public safety emergency communications website to host resources created by SAFECOM, the National Council of Statewide Interoperability Coordinators (NCSWIC), and the Federal Partnership for Interoperable Communications (FPIC).
“Emergency Communications has and will always be a constant integral part of all public safety operations. Good Communications is always a key cornerstone component of a successful event. SAFECOM strives to make all this valuable information available to our stakeholders. Having a consolidated website to access this information especially in these times is a tremendous advantage to our collective membership,” said Chief Gerald Reardon, SAFECOM Chair, City of Cambridge Fire Department, Massachusetts.
