Pennsylvania Officials Attend Cybersecurity Training
Pennsylvannia state and county officials attended a cybersecurity training session hosted by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, says a news report.
The training provided election, information technology and security personnel with simulation scenarios that helped them train for cyber incidents that could impact voting and were provided with best practices for cyber incident planning, identification, response and recovery. The exercise is similar to the bipartisan bill proposed last month by New York representatives Kathleen Rice (D) and John Katko (R) that would require members of Congress to receive annual cybersecurity and IT training.
