PG&E Offers $250K Reward for Substation Attack Leads
In the latest development since the targeted attack on a southern California Pacific Gas & Electric Co. substation last April, PG&E is offering a $250,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the attack.
According to The Associated Press, the attack left AT&T fiber-optic lines disconnected, knocking out phone and 911 service in the area around Silicon Valley, and the attackers fired shots into the substation, knocking out 17 transformers and causing more than $15 million in damage.
