Gucci has been awarded $144.2 million in damages from counterfeit websites selling their products. The 155 websites have 30 days to shut down their organization.
Gucci filed the lawsuit in May for cybersquatting and counterfeiting, accusing the websites of using "such tactics as copying campaign advertisements, product images and descriptions from official websites, as well as using Gucci in the domain name", in order to "deceive online consumers".
