Officials in the small Utah town of Spring City want to make sure that every head of household has a firearm and knows how to use it, and they want to give school teachers training with guns as well, according to a report from The Associated Press.
Councilman Neil Sorensen originally proposed an ordinance requiring a gun in every household in the 1,000-person town. While the rest of the council refused making it a requirement, they unanimously agreed “recommending” the idea.
