The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Director, Jen Easterly, released a statement following the 2024 elections. In the statement, Easterly asserted that the infrastructure of the election has never been more secure. Furthermore, the CISA has no evidence that any malicious activity had any material impact on the integrity of the election.
This statement follows the joint statement from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the CISA discussing foreign adversaries’ attempts to undermine trust in the electoral process as well as another joint statement with the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) in support of state and local election officials.
