Underwater Robots Could Increase Port Security

 Late September, MIT researchers unveiled an oval-shaped submersible robot at the International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems. The football-sized machine can perform ultrasound scans underwater, looking for cracks in nuclear reactors’ water tanks.
