From HID, the small, disk-shaped MicroProx Tag transponder allows users to add HID proximity to any non-metallic apparatus by simply attaching the adhesive-backed tag to the device. With the MicroProx Tag, cell phones, PDAs and other similar devices can now be used for access control. The MicroProx Tag also enables users to easily transition from card technologies such as magnetic stripe, Wiegand or barium ferrite to proximity technology. HID
