Integrated Engineering now has DESFireR. The DESFireR cards are highly secured smart cards with DES-encryption – an encryption that secures transmitted information. The DESFireR smart card readers from Integrated Engineering are CAC-compliant. DESFireR offers fast transport for large amounts of data, with a maximum of 424 kbit per second. The DESFireR card has a flexible file system and 4 KB memory capacity. One card can hold 28 applications. Each application is secured with 14 access keys.
