The Schlage mobile video manager (MVM) from Ingersoll Rand is designed for mobile applications from school buses to mass transit. Video captured by the Schlage MVM can be sent via cellular, wireless, mesh or LAN/WAN networks to alert security personnel quickly, from multiple locales, using mobile phones, PDAs and/or PCs. Cameras with dual viewing windows allows them to be mounted either to a ceiling or wall without requiring a bracket. Although rugged, the mobile camera is sleek, lightweight and has an ultra-high impact resistance and is both dust and water-resistant. An optional infrared illuminator, with a range of up to 50 feet away, makes the camera usable even in darkness.
